Internal Installation?
-
So, I’m trying to get my company to use wordpress for their ‘intranet’ site, but they are running MS-Sql which I understand wordpress will not work with. I currently have a sample wordpress on my personal hosting to demonstrate to them what it looks like, it’s capabilities, etc. Because MySQL is about $500 they are not willing to invest solely to install WordPress to the companies servers. Are there other free solutions to this problem? Or is it possible that my public hosting can run a version of wordpress within a designated network and not allow access outside of it?
My hosting is from a third party that I pay for, so I only have admin capabilities and I’m a little short on my extended knowledge of networking.
Thank you for any resolution.
