A brand new concept for comments

I am wanting something that will be a unique area on my blog that holds all comments and allows users to post comments there relating to articles on my site.

I would like to remove the area under each post that allows users to leave comments there and instead have the link state “leave a comment”. When the user clicks “leave a comment”, it will open up the threaded comment page which shows all comments left for the blog as a whole (in chronological order).

Why? Because sometimes I have posts with zero comments and it hurts my feelings, and causes visitors to not speak up. Having an active conversation page will cause others to jump in too.

I would want this area to actually be accessible on my Nav menu as well.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
