    Dear Support Team:

Have you heard anyone experiencing 503 Service Unavailable issues due to SVG Support plugin? Is there a go-around? I have multiple sites on the same shared server with Godaddy (called them as well – no maintenance issues), with all the same plugins, exception SVG Support. None of the other sites have this issue, and I am fairly certain the 503 is due to a plugin.

I really appreciate how hi-res my logo is, but I and others have experienced a 503 error message when trying to visit the website. Randomly happens, so not everyone sees it. FYSA, I use Avada theme. Evetything is up to date on my site, including all plugins. Thank you for your feedback!

    Hi there,

This is a classic godaddy situation. You need more resources on your hosting account. I have seen a TON of sites get that issue, regardless of plugins. I even tested a plain WP install in their shared hosting and hit errors when opening a bunch of pages to edit at once… I’m talking like 8-10 pages maxes it out.

This is why it’s random. Your shared hosting account is inside a “cage” with soft limits so no single site can degrade the performance of others on the same server. So traffic load to the site is easily built up. Especially if you have the admin open, the frontend to see what you’re working on, an FTP client and email client using the hosting emails – it will max out all the time. I have had to save a number of people from this hosting situation. (totally unrelated to my plugin).

My plugin should absolutely have no effect on your resource load to that level. It’s actually very minimal.

I’d suggest upgrading your resources or switching hosts.

    I hope this helps.
