Thanks for the report. This isn’t anything specific to User Switching. The problem is that your proxy server is configured with a low value for the header size limit.
See previous thread here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/502-bad-gateway-36/
Got the 502 resolved but Switch To will not work with WooCommerce. I de-activated all plugins and re-activated. WooCommerce appears to be the culprit. Unfortunately, for us that’s a huge issue.
The Switch To switches me to a new user, but immediately dumps me out of Admin (if new user is NOT an admin) and sends me to the woocommerce myaccount page.
I no longer can Switch back to my Admin account.
Are you aware of conflicts with WooCommerce? We’ve been using WooCommerce and Switch To since the site’s inception with no issues so this is brand new problem.
Just a suggestion. @johnbillion I think it will be best if you just add it into the FAQ for now. I had to check 4-5 topics which were generally the same only to find the answer.
(Clear cookies and try again. For me it worked.)
I know it isn’t much but most people will write a new topic instead of trying to find the solution in all the already answered and connected topics.
