    Hello,

    I am often getting the 500 Inthernal Server Error. I appears to me that this is triggered only when a new content is uploaded. I the error lasts for a few hours and then it comes back to normal.

    my site is: http://strategieart.uk

    I suspect that the new content triggers some script or SEO and until it’s done I cannot view any pages. but his is only my feeling, no poof of that.

    I tried to rename the .htaccess file but to no avail. Before I continue to other solutions I wanted to check out if there is someone who can suggest what the culprit might be.

    I wrote to the provider and this is their reply:

    Hello Alex,

    We have tried to grab the error logs for the account but, found the following two logs :

    =======================
    [Mon May 30 13:49:47 2016] [error] [client 31.193.25.154] (12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn’t create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/suphp for /home/strat927/public_html
    /index.php, referer: http://strategieart.uk/
    [Thu Jun 02 23:46:31 2016] [error] [client 69.172.239.150] (12)Cannot allocate memory: couldn’t create child process: /opt/suphp/sbin/suphp for/home/strat927/public_htm
    l/wp-cron.php
    =======================

    Also, we can see access logs from 04/Jun/2016:13:48:27 to 04/Jun/2016:13:49:46 which shows 250+ hits within 1 minute which might be the reason of Internal Server Error. Please check attached logs.

    You need to optimize your website and database or opt for VPS plan.

    The last option is uploading fresh versions of wp-admin and wp-includes to my site.

    Thank you very much for yor suggestions and help.

    Alex
