I am new to WordPress and recently tried to change my blog url from http://blogg.vibevocals.se to http://www.vibevocals.se/blogg. I probably didn’t do this correctly since some trouble have appeared since. After changing the urls in the MySQL to the original one the blog was back on track. After that I have done multiple things to change the url but now I’m back on square one at blogg.vibevocals.se and none of the links are working!

No links are working and all show the same error text:

    “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, support@one.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

    So:
    1. How to get my links back to normal?
    2. Is it possible to move the blog to http://www.vibevocals.se/blogg ? Is there a guide somewhere on how to do that?

    Hi malinrebecka,

Try to update your current site’s “.htaccess” file.

You will find it from Dashboard>>Settings>>Permalinks>>Save Your Permalink Structure Again>>You will see a your new site’s htaccess rules in there>>Copy this and update the “.htaccess” file.

And also make sure that you have updated your migrated site’s “WordPress Address (URL)” and “Site Address (URL)” correctly.

Hope this will solve the problem.
