    Hi,

There seems to be a problem with the .htaccess. Try re-saving the permalinks in settings/permalinks.

If that does not help, removing the the Really Simple SSL lines from the .htaccess can solve the problem.

    Hi,
for first thing, thank you for your quick reply.

I tried to remove the plugin lines from the .htaccess (now it is empty) and saved the permalinks but nothing changed.

I also tried to change (in WordPress general settings) the https links in http but nothing happens.

I read in another thread that could be good replace wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh WordPress install in order to “fix” it.

Do you think that could be useful?
    Thank you in advance

I can’t harm, but as your back-end works without issues, I wouldn’t expect it to help.

You could try to deactivate Really Simple SSL, to see if that helps. Just deactivate in the plugins console, and your site will revert to http.

    Hi,
I tried but my home page always redirect to https. I don’t understand why.

I disabled the plugin, tried to set http instead of https in WordPress general settings, my .htaccess is clear and it still redirect on https 🙁

If I load http://www.incassetta.it/ it does not redirect to https, but does give a server error. So I don’t think it has anything to do with SSL. Maybe you need to enable the error logging to see what the problem is. As the error does not occur on the back-end, it’s possible the problem is in your theme or in another plugin.

    Hi,
yes, you are right!!! I disabled all the plugins and it now works (I don’t know why I didn’t try it before, thank you).
As soon as I can I will tell you the plugin that cause this issue.

Thank you so much for your help.

    Hi,
sorry for the delay but in the last 24 hours I was very busy. The plugin that cause the issue was WP User Avatar and the solution was quick, I use another one.

Thank you very much for your help.
