Hi Edward, do you have a link to your site so I can take a look? Which version of the plugin are you using and have you tested switching the button theme? And have you read the servers PHP error log to read the full error instead of just the public output?

Skype has been changing a lot lately, breaking each time my plugin. Bummer. I wonder if it’s the new owner that hates me as much as I hate them 😉
Anyway, the strange thing is that all my own sites are running on NginX too but I have not seen this issue. Could anyone share a link to a sample page to see it live?

Bummer. I thought I had worked around that in the emergency update 2.8.8 but apparently, it’s still happening in some cases. Could you upgrade to 2.8.9 and tell me if you are still seeing the issue?

xsil11, did you follow the instructions to set public visibility inside your Skype client options? And then sometimes the Skype server does not relay your status properly and you need to switch from online to away to offline and back again to make it snap into action…
