  • Hi There –

I just moved a WordPress install from a subdirectory to the top level of the domain, precisely following your instructions HERE

Everything seemed fine, until I went to delete the old directory. As a precaution, I renamed the old directory prior to deleting it, to avoid downtime if there were any problems.

Glad I did! Renaming it gave us 500 errors, changing it back made everything okay.

As you can imagine, we’re loathe to delete the old files now.

Any suggestions as to what might be going on?

    The site is at http://allseasonsannarbor.com

    Old directory was http://allseasonsannarbor.com/01

    Which now gives a WP-generated 404

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
