404 (Page Not Found) Error

I can login but get the message :404 (Page Not Found) Error.
I cannot access my dashboard.
After spending hours reading the tutorials, and other folks issues, i feel really uncomfortable going into “folders” and messing with code.
The only thing that i recall doing the other day. I logged in and then clicked update version to 3.4.1….then i was directed to the 404 error page, and that was the end.
