What happens if you try to preview the page from Edit Post?

Can you edit the Post? If so, try cutting all of the text content (and place it in a text editor for safekeeping) and updating it.
I’m not sure how to do that, sorry…..you want me to copy the post and pace it in a text editor? How?
I copied and pasted it into a file, updated it, but still 404 error.
Set a static front page at
Settings → Reading
Via Edit Post. Highlight the text in the post content area, cut it and then paste into something like Notepad on your computer.

No! The point of the exercise is to remove all post text except the title.

OK – so try changing the page title. Use something like “Wibble”.

Dangit! I was hoping that it was a server security issue whereby a word, or phrase, in the post was being blocked. What happens if you try to recreate the Post?
Same. 404….very frustrating
What if I delete the whole post, and start over, create a new post and name it something else?
