404 errors not logging

    Hi,

    I am successfully using this plugin for redirects and they show up in the log under the plugin.

    However if I check under 404s I only have 3 showing but I do know there have been multiple 404s. I have received notifications from visitors who state which sites they have been to and none of those show up on my 404s. If I try to access a non-existing site myself my 404s do not show up.

    The plugin successfully shows my created 404 page.

    Is there something I’m doing wrong?

    Have you enabled 404 logging in the options?

    It is set to keep logs for a month. Is there any way else logging could be disabled?

    Do you have anything else running on your site that might interfere with 404s? Another plugin, for example

    I’m using 404page – your smart custom 404 error page and it appears that this was the problem.

    The solution is weird however. I disabled the 404 plugin, checked that logging now worked. Enabled the 404 plugin and now logging still works.

    All good I guess!
