• My website keeps encountering 404 errors multiple times a day. After I resave the permalinks, it works for a while, but the 404 error reappears later. The .htaccess file keeps changing on its own, and I can’t seem to find a solution.

    Here are the details:

    • WordPress 6.7.1
    • All plugins updated (WooCommerce, WPML, ACP, etc.)
    • PHP version: 8.0
    • No fatal errors in the log files

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

  • The file changing on its own suggests that something may be interfering with your permalink setup. I’d start troubleshooting by reaching out to your hosting provider first to check for any server-level issues.

Additionally, try temporarily deactivating all plugins, resave the permalinks, and check if the issue persists. If the problem is resolved, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the culprit.
