404 error for uploaded files

    hi. i’m having a problem like this. WP version 2.6
    havent touched anything – no upgrade, nothing. sofar the site has worked fine, but now i uploaded a new file with ftp and the site gives me:
    Error 404 – Not Found

    the file is there.

    what could be the problem ?

    I just dont get it how it can be broken
    when nothing has been changed. it worked perfectly.

    can you suggest where the problem might be ?

    What kind of file? A template file? If it’s not a template file, you need to upload it via the Media Library.

    Ah yes. WP needs to know that he has the file. ok thanks.
    i’ll mark the topic solved. cause i think the real problem is somewhere in the plugin im trying to use. so the real fix will be upgrade.
