404 error after customer makes a purchase

    Hello,

    When a customer makes a purchase via credit/debit card this 404 error pops up. The money will come through though but the customer often thinks payment has been unsuccessful and will sometimes make another then I have to refund one.

    Does anyone have any idea why?

    Seems to be fine with paypal.

    Using either Stirpe or woocomerce does this, everything else works fine up to this point.

    Let’s see if there is an error on the WooCommerce Logs. Kindly provide us the following:

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Also, could you please send us screenshots of this error so we can investigate this further?

    The error logs seem to indicate an issue with your child theme’s functions.php. You’ll want to check closely the referenced line or any custom code you have added, especially on the use of closing tags.

    Hey so I only recently changed to stripe, to see if it would make a difference, it didn’t/ I was having this issue with woocomerce payments also.

    Hi again,

    It seems your Checkout page does not exist when checking your System Status. The thankyou page is part of the Checkout page and it’s automatically generated.

    Follow this guide to recreate the Checkout page and you should no longer receive the “Page not found” error:
