    Hi all,

I have WordPress installed (version 4.7.2)
    Installed LearnPress (latest version 2.1.3)
    No other plugins are installed.
Only 1 theme is installed (Twenty Sixteen version 1.3)

WordPress permalink option Post name is enabled.
Learnpress Single course permalink is enabled on course (http://evc.nl/course/sample-course/)

I set up a course, but constantly I receive the following error: 404 not found nginx (http://evc.nl/course/test-course/)

    What to do?

  • Hi,

It maybe due to configure of server. You can try to create a new page then access this page with permalink of page. If it has problem 404 for all page and post, you need to configure server again. This link will be helpful to you https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/enabling-nginx-mod_rewrite.

    Regards,

    Hien Phan.

The link was unfortunately not helping.
Could not find anything on my hosting about nginx.

But by accident I found in my hosting that my php version was running as FPM application served by nginx.

Lucky me there was an option to change that into running php as FPM application served by APACHE.

So that’s what I changed + I placed an .htaccess file .. that resulted in a working site 🙂

p.s. is it possible to remove the earlier posted links / url , because they are not relevant and working anymore, thanks !
