First off, your “Indie Fest” theme is not in the WP Repo.
What it means is that volunteers here have no access to its code.
Therefore, my suggestion is to contact the theme’s developers for support.
In general, A 403 forbidden means that your browser isn’t able to load the scripts up because your server isn’t allowing it. This is a hard one to solve. Because anything could be blocking the server.
– Most likely this is a server permissions/ownership issue, so ask your host what’s going on
– Also, check your .htaccess files for anything strange.
– Also try a full Manual Upgrade, to make sure all the WordPress files are there and correct.
– Make sure to backup everything (including database) before doing any action, in case.
Hi Tara, the template is bigbangwp, i have tried contacting the developer but no response,
Thanks for your help so far, but so far I can’t get it solved…
I checked all permissions, and they should be fine!
The problem is I’m a real rookie in server related issues, so please be a bit more specific in how to access nginx server logs or .htaccess, since I don’t know how to do…
i have tried the upgrade/update on wordpress files, all appears to be fine
My site is hosted on 1and1
Thansk a lot

This is most probably a server issue. So discuss this with your hosting provider as well.
