The 403 is because you had “serve as static files” off and something on your system was prohibiting (direct) PHP execution from wp-content/cache/autoptimize

Clearing any page cache you have should do the trick. Also try activating the “404 handler” (although it will require some nginx level changes, see FAQ, your hoster should be able to help).

Very persistent error. All WordPress and Cloudflare cache cleaning didn’t help. Cleaning all server cache did the trick.

yeah, if you have nginx or similar caching on hoster/ server level that also counts as page cache.

as I wrote do look into that “404 handler” thingie which can serve as a workaround if this happens again, see AO FAQ for info on how this can be done on nginx.

    enjoy your Sunday!
