3D secure triggered?

    Hi,

    How can we know if 3D secure has been triggered for a card payment? I’m not finding enough informations.

    To determine if 3D Secure has been triggered for a card payment, you can check the bottom of the PayPal order, the WooCommerce order notes, or the plugin log files. Typically, when 3D Secure is activated, an appropriate order note will be added to indicate this:

    My previous message is not entirely accurate as the information from the screenshot alone would not tell you if 3DS was triggered or not (e.g. when the bank does not support 3DS).

    For now, the information on whether 3DS triggered is only accessible from the plugin log files.

    I’m closing this thread for now since we haven’t heard back, but the team is looking into eventually adding the 3DS authentication result to the order meta. This would then allow you to define your own cutom order handling based on the 3DS responses. I can’t say when this would be available, though.
