Awww……..You’re just showing off! LOL. I have a lot to learn. Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll definitely check it out. I’d like to help out a little around here and pay back some of the fantastic help I got.
What I’m saying is that it’s possible for everything to be working except for the Network Access. I wish I had better information on this so it could be used to help others solve their problems.

WordPress for Dummies just came out (and was written by some pretty fantabulous people whom I rely on to bail ME out!).
Lol, the full title is the WordPress All In one for dummies, with six whole chapters on multisite basics.
I’m having exactly the same problem Jinger. Thanks for posting about it, makes me feel slightly less crazy.
Now to talk to my web host. Here’s hoping they’ll be as helpful as yours. 🙂

Glad I could help, but the credit really goes to Andrea and Ipstenu. They really helped me a lot. It gets easier as you rule things out.
ARGH! Same problem here!!!
And my host? On live chat, asked me for my username and password to my site, which I gave against my better judgement, and then came back with “Yes, I have looked around and I don’t see it either. Contact wordpress”.

Frustrating.
Fixed mine (with zero host help LOL). Not sure if this effects anybody else, but thought I’d post just in case.
Two days ago, wordpress wouldn’t take my password. Maybe it was wrong, I dunno. So I did the email reset thing, but noticed when I was resetting it, my username had changed back to admin.
I didn’t think anything of it until today, with no network.
Sure enough, I went into myPHP, changed my username back to what it should be, and poof! there’s my network access back.
It’s Friday the 13th today … hmmmmmm … 🙂
Yes, super admin access is tied to your username.
