When the pay per post plugin is activated on a wordpress install using a multiple container environment such as pantheon.io, I am seeing multiple 302 redirects which prevents WP from loading pages correctly or letting users log in.

    See screencap below:

    chrome network inspector screencap

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a way to fix it??

    Thanks

Hey there! So I have never heard of this before. Where is it redirecting to? Are you running latest version of plugin? Is this happening on the front end of site or admin area. Is it anywhere in admin or when editing a post that’s associated with PPP?

Also if you want to send more info in private please email me at support@pramadillo.com

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m going to post as much as I can here so that it might help someone else if we find a solution and will email you some more details seperatly.

I’m running the latest version of WP (5.3) as well as the latest version of woocommerce (3.8) and PPP (2.4.10) although this was happening with the previous versions of all 3 of the above as well.

I know there is an issue with woocommerce itself and the wc_get_template_part function as it caches absolute paths. See https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/23751

    Does PPP do anything similar?

When activating PPP in a multi container env. i get the following warning which is trivial but illustrates the absolute path issue:

Warning: file_get_contents(/srv/bindings/617d123fab2847d7a3efe7fdc2fa3cf0/code/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pay-per-post/readme.txt): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/bindings/617d123fab2847d7a3efe7fdc2fa3cf0/code/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pay-per-post/admin/class-woocommerce-pay-per-post-admin.php on line 242

The redirection is most noticeable on the login page when it tries to redirect to the dashboard.

@targetdir it might be best to take this into an email, and then I will post findings after I can do some debugging. Can you please submit email to support@pramadillo.com and we can dive into debugging.

    hey @targetdir
Are you still having this issue? I did not get a support ticket from you. I can do more in-depth debugging via email and then we can post results back to this thread when we come up with solution.

    Thanks
