301 redirects failing – possible caching issue?

    Hi,

    Just set up 12 redirects, all similar to each other.
    Cleared the cache and ran a crawl and all returned .301 redirect, then slowly a portion will start to fail until about half are returning .200 and the other half are returning the expected .301.

    Using the ‘check redirect’ feature on the Plugin I am getting a

    Found: 200
    Agent: Not using Redirection

    Help would be appreciated – really need this resolved asap!

    Re-clearing the cache seems to give similar behaviour.

    I can see some are getting hits as expected and others only a few.

    Site is using WP Rocket but not Cloudflare.

    I’ve been trying to rule out any caching issues I have the ability to, I’ve just tried deleting these redirects, clearing the cache, then creating them again, and a final clear.

    Will run a test in a few hours.

    You don’t need to delete and recreate the redirects – it won’t change how the plugin works. If something works for a bit then stops working it is almost certainly an external cache of some kind. You may have more than one.
