3.0 Upgrade Problem
-
I can access admin, view pages, posts, etc but the web page is blank.
It’s as if WP cannot see the content folder, so no themes, plug-ins.Can anyone help.
Thanks.

Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?
– increasing the available memory?

Hi – I upgraded to 3.0 and it now appears as if my view site/visit site button (I can’t remember exactly what it was called) is missing from my dashboard. Is there a way to get it back?
Thanks!
wendymck, that was removed in 3.0. The blog’s title (upper-left corner of the dashboard) is now a hyperlink with the same functionality.
If for some reason that doesn’t work for you, please start your own topic.
azuko,
did you have the same problem before your 3.0 upgrade? I had a similar problem (but only with IE and can’t remember whether it was before or after 3.0) which was called by an error caused by the way I called my style sheets.
Azuko, take a look at wp-config.php and ensure that there are no blank lines (carriage returns) after the final
?>Sounds daft, I know, but I had the same problem earlier (blank admin pages) and the solution was to delete any blank lines after ?> in wp-confg.php
Far better to completely delete the final closing
?>tag in wp-config.phpdo you see any error messages in your PHP error log file on the host/ server?
Need the fix? Still having the problem?
Quick solution, simply change from Pureftp to Proftp.
Make sure to backup all your files as always!Need the fix? Still having the problem?
