I enabled the Limit Login Attempts > 2FA setting for users having the administrator role. I then tested it out, going to my WP login page and providing my username and password. When I submitted those, I was sent the email with 6-digit OTP code. Everything good up until this point. I then typed in the 6 digits into the 2fa form on the site, and the keystrokes seemed to register, since each one advanced me to the next number field. But none of the numbers I typed in were visible. After keying in the 6th and final number, I clicked to submit, and got bounced back to the login page, with a message saying my username and/or password were incorrect. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it expected behavior not to show the code numbers as they are typed in? Any ideas what I could check? Thx in advance…

Can you please provide more information? For example data from the WP Health and the list of active plugins? Is it possible that you entered incorrect password?
