2.8 > not working permalinks

    after insallation and setting up the permalinks the links stay the same ( “?p_id=345” or so, but when i try to directly enter the url “localhost/about” it works… whats wrong?

    What permalinks were you trying to set up?

    none of the options is not working, but its funny because they work (at least for pages) when i enter the address into the browser bar, but wordpress still writes the old format into generated links and they work as well…
