2 WordPress installations under different subdomains

    I’m having trouble with a new wordpress installation.
    I have one at x.domain.com.au and i’ve made a new subdomain y.domain.com.au
    The first one, x , works. It’s been installed for a few years now.

    I installed wordpress on the Y domain using cpanel, but i can’t login as admin it gives no errors just refreshes the login fields, also navigating to the actuall wordpress site gives me a too many redirect error.

    Am i missing a crucial step in installing 2 different wordpresses under 2 different subdomains?

    Okay this has become a recurring theme for me, Ask question on forum, hours later fix my own problem.

    In case anyone stumbles across this page
    When installing wordpress i had it set to use http:// instead of http://wwww. and for some reason it didn’t enjoy this one bit.
    Problem solved my uninstalling, reinstalling with the right settings as stated above.
