    Yes, custom template pages.

    You could also look up tutorials for creating a CMS site.

    It’s how I’m currently transitioning my own site. One set of pages for ‘static’ content (aka pages) and another for the posts. I’m likely to create a custom page for image galleries down the line. So all in all three types of pages on one site.

    Depending on the theme you can set the page to whatever theme options there are under the edit page window. This might answer your question:

    If you don’t want to go down that route you can also use the plug-in Art Direction:

    How you will need a solid understanding of HTML/CSS to get the most out of it but it does allow you to customise each post individually.
