2-columns and/or no title breaks CSS

I could use some help on this one.
If I have two columms and no title in Settings (which is what I need for my layout), the rest of the CSS for the site’s theme doesn’t load correctly.

(note the black shadowy lines that are supposed to separate all widgets isn’t in the right place)If I change it to single column with no title, it is still broken but just a bit less:

(Widget division lines are in correct place, but CSS that follows is still broken)Finally, if I change to single column and add a title…everything is okay (but definitely not what I need).
