I’m adding a store to an existing website, so the link won’t give you any more info, the store isn’t live.

The owner of the store has created her own shipping costs and I have made them classes. When I try to add or edit a product, I can only choose one. We would like the customer to be able to choose priority or express. We also have an option for request a quote, but that’s only available if the parameters match. I bring that up in case there’s some incompatibility.

    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • “We would like the customer to be able to choose priority or express” – so you’ll need to create two methods for each zone. The methods will both be based on the flat rate method but named differently.

Thank you. I do have that set up. The problem is i don’t have the option to choose two shipping classes when setting up the product.

Never mind.. Thank you. I think I figured it out. I’ll be back if I’m wrong. =)

Nope. I did not figure it out.. So, maybe I’m not explaining well. Client has shipping of flat rate priority or flat rate express, priority starts at $10 and goes up to $100 in $5 increments. Express starts at $30 and goes up to $150 in $5 increments. I have them all set up as classes and it’s all of the US. Do I have to add each one as a method? The client wants to have total control over this.

Your single zone is the US. Each product should have one class. Products of the same type can have the same class. Your zone will need two methods, one for priority and the other for express.

Maybe you’ll need other zones for the non-contiguous areas of the US, I don’t know.

But the WooCommerce core plugin won’t enable step charges, that called a “table”, so you’ll need a table rate shipping plugin. I should start by looking at this one:

    There are others.
