13 Amazon Clicks – Amazon Says NOTHING!

    New to Pretty Links and Amazon Aassociate program.

    Created an Amazon short link to a product page and made a “Pretty Link” with it. Shared pretty link to our FB Business page a few weeks ago. Pretty Link says 13 clicks. Amazon’s Consolidated Summary says ZERO Activity.

    Why is Amazon not seeing or tracking traffic through a Pretty Link?

    Hi Ken,

    Does Amazon pick up on the click when you try viewing the pretty link from your end?

    One thing to note is that Amazon doesn’t allow affiliate links to be cloaked/shortened from outside tools, so you may need to either leave your Amazon links uncloaked or use their built-in link shortening service to prevent conflicts with their TOS.

    I tested the pretty link several times and it goes to the product page, yet as mentioned Amazon says zero activity.

    I used the shortened product URL from Amazon to create the pretty link.
