Hi,
1. UM is not 100% compatible at the moment. We did some WPML compatibility work a month ago and currently have users posting on our forum which elements of plugin are still not compatible.
2. No UM has not been certified by WPML yet.
Thanks 🙂

Hi!
1) Please provide an ETA on when UM becomes 100% compatible and officially certified with WPML.org. NOTE: WPML.org is the #1 TOOL worldwide to translate ANY CONTENT of ANY PLUGIN provider.
2) In the meantime, please provide a PROFESSIONAL and EASY TO USE alternative of a SECURE and BUG FREE translation tool and indicate STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS on how to TRANSLATE ALL! UM CONTENT (including automatic emails, .js error messages, etc., etc.).
Thanks!
Hi,
Can’t give an ETA at moment I am afraid as it depends on support load and amount of bugs/issues we may have to deal with.
Just had an email from an employee at WPML offering to test UM with WPML so that could help a lot.
People normally use PoEdit to translate UM into another language:
This article by ninja forms provides useful instructions:

Thanks 🙂
Hi,
Any update on WPML ? I’m considering buying now but need to know how much trouble I’ll run into for a multilingual site.
Thanks!
Hi,
We dont have 100% compatibility with WPML at the moment. We’ve done some work on it but making UM 100% compatible is quite a long and complex process as we have to rework some of the plugin.
Thanks
Thanks, I understand it’s not completed.
Now what sort of issues would I run into if I did install UM along WPML? I have an English + French site, so would certain things be translated and others would simply show up in English in both versions? The main question is whether UM would function properly, other than certain portions not being translated?
Thanks.
It is mostly certain elements of UM not being able to be translated e.g emails sent to users than UM not working.
Thanks
Thanks, so it’s definitely premature to put it on live environment. I hope to see you guys evolve towards full compatibility with WPML in the near future.
