It seems that the forminator shortcode is no longer compatible with WordPress.
The User Interface from the Dashboard does not look correct. Clicking the button ‘Preview’ or ‘Copy Shortcode’ buttons does nothing.
I would like to avoid having to move to a different plugin for our applicaiton. If you think there’s something that will fix this problem, please let me know.

I suspect the same issue may also be impacting Forminator, where required CSS and JavaScript files may not be loading correctly. This would explain why the Forminator admin layout appears broken.
I recommend first resolving the site-wide layout and missing asset issues, then reinstalling Forminator, and checking whether that resolves the problem.
I tested in my system to see if I could replicate such an issue but it works fine. The latest update doesn’t break the WP dashboard nor I could replicate issues with deleting it.
One possibility is that the installation got corrupted during the update, which could be due to many factors, such as slow internet, server resources, etc.
Could you please manually delete the plugin via FTP/cPanel by accessing the /wp-content/plugins folder and deleting the “forminator” folder, and then see if you can replicate the issue if you reinstall it?
It appears to be an issue at the hosting end. Can you please reach out to your hosting support and ask them to help remove the current Forminator directory?
Once the existing directory is removed, please install Forminator again and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

My issue with Forminator and WordPress has been resolved. Once Forminator was deleted, it was reinstalled and works correctly. Thanks to all involved for your assitance. I was pleased that our forms were preserved.
