I’m afraid there isn’t a simple way to integrate custom Google search with the top-left search bar at the moment, but I will look into this in future updates.
For now, the best method is to use the WP Google Search plugin. This will give you a new Google search widget you can add into the sidebar and whenever visitors use that widget, they’ll see the Google search results and ads you include.
widget will not help since I use full width layout in the blog posts.
You can use the “Below Header” or “Above Posts” widget area in this case. Then the search bar will be displayed above the posts on every page.
