    Hello.

I was wondering if there is a way to have a field on the form to input a custom amount, that goes through to PayPal?

Is this possible in the free version?
or is it only possible in the pro version?

    Thanks,

    Luke

    Hi Luke,

PayPal does allow you to enter 0.00 for the price and that will allow the customer to enter a custom amount. However this features seems to be being phased out by PayPal, although it is not clear yet to what extent.

The Pro version allow you to link an input field to the price. So you can use that so that customers can enter their own amounts.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hello Scott,

    Thanks for the speedy reply!
So just to confirm that the pro version has the feature I need.
(because I don’t want to spend the money and find out it doesn’t have the feature)

I want to have an input field in the form entitled “Amount you want to pay”
The user then inputs the amount they want to pay and clicks the ‘pay now’ button.
This will then redirect them to PayPal and the amount they chose to pay in the form is displayed in PayPal ready for them to pay.

Is this “do-able” in the Pro version?

    Thanks!
