• Since updating to 4.9.2 I’m having trouble installing and managing plugins.

I’m running a WordPress network (multisite). When I try to search the plugin directory from within my admin, the loading wheel shows up and just spins. If I refresh the page my search results appear.

Also I don’t seem to be able to delete plugins through the admin interface. I click “delete” I get the confirmation dialog and the micro copy changes to “deleting…” But the plugin never deletes.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Is it an outdated theme/plugin?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Any error message?

None that I can see. I do think it’s an out of date plugin. I tried temporarily renaming my plugin directory and that made my plugin search work. I’ve got A LOT of plugins so finding the one is going to take some time.

    – try deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).

    – As an alternative, if you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    That sounds attractive. Thanks!

Actually it looks like Health Check can’t be Network activated. So I’d only be able to do that one site at a time. I’ll have to do it the old fashioned way I guess.
