Plugin Authorization with error

    I thought it should be no more than a formality to authorize GADWP from my Google Account, but ends up with an error

    I Follow the described procudure:
    From Plugin CADWP I choose SETUP
    From Google Analytics Settting I choose the button AUTHORIZE PLUGIN
    I choose the link GET ACCESS CODE (red letters)
    I choose my gmail account
    I choose ACCEPT button
    I copy the access code from the Google page
    I paste the access code and press button SAVE ACCESS CODE as I return to Google Analytics Settting
    It says, ”Something went wrong … (the box with the red vertical bar). My language is Danish, so I have to translate 🙂
    The “error and error detection” says:
    “Latest error: [Timestamp]: No properties were found in this account”

    What is behind this error??
    I feel very stupid 🙂

    Hi,

    You need to create a Property/View first on analytics.google.com for your website.

    Dear Alin
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    I’ve been on this setup page before (analytics.google.com) to get a tracking ID for another plugin.
    It sounds strange, but I could not update the parameters from the page, so I failed to catch the ID. I suspect that it’s because I’m using IE, so as soon as possible I’ll try the same with another browser.

    Yes, I got the tracking ID using another browser than IE, and now I’ve completed the authorization setup succesfull.

    Once again, thanks for guiding me 🙂
