It looks like safari based browser aren’t liking your setup(Chrome on iOS uses parts iOS’ native web view which is Safari)

This looks like it might be one 2 things:

    • Your domain might not be whitelisted properly
    • Your site is not https, which is required by Facebook

You can upgrade your site to https for free with Let’s Encrypt

    Hi,

You are an excellent meticulous person.

You gave all the links necessary in a single post and listed all possible causes of the problem.

I am in the process of enabling HTTPS.

I will post within 24 hours to give you an update of the situation.

    Thank You so much.

I have now made my site HTTPS.

The issue is still not resolved.

Could it be the domain whitelisting process?

    I’ve whitelisted my domain alkalinedietindia.com.

    What could be the issue?

The problem is with the OptimizePress plugin.

I tried deactivating each plugin, this was the culprit, but I need the plugin, I’ve emailed their support, let’s wait.

Do you know any work around?

@prkadi Not yet, I’m building a running list of plugins to add compatibility for that I will work through during my next build sprint.

@prkadi Also, Thank You! I’m definitely going to steal that compliment and reuse it.

Can you tell me the exact issue?, I can bring it up with the OptimizePress people so that they can help us out.

I’m not too technical, so I can’t figure it out.

It’s hard to say exactly without doing a deep diagnosis but it usually has to with how the Facebook SDK is called.

On your site it looks like a plugin called Tracking Code Manager that get’s the SDK in a different way than this one was built for which leads to some weird side effects.

    Here’s the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/tracking-code-manager/

If you don’t have this then perhaps OptimizePress includes it or sets off some sort of domino effect.

So I first used FB Customer Chat plugin to insert the code, since it was not working on iOS, I tried to insert the code using Tracking Code Manager.

That has not changed anything though.

I only got a result when I disabled OptimizePress.

Do you suggest I try to insert the code directly?

I use chatfuel, so should I get the code directly from facebook?

I’m going to go ahead and resolve issue this since there hasn’t been a response in a while. Let me know if you need any more help.
