Theme update error: “Update failed: Could not create directory”

    I just made a bunch of successful updates for a website that will hopefully go live soon. The last update remaining is for the site’s theme. When I try to update, I get the same error – “Update Failed: Could not create directory.” Any suggestions?

    Please install the health check plugin and examine the findings for any clue

    Thanks for the suggestion. I’m running the wp site on a .net server and there’s been some compatibility issues with that. I decided to download it ‘manually’ to the server and it worked like a charm. I’m working with my host admin to update their PHP, which has become an issue with other bugs.
