Hi is it possible to allow registered users on my wordpress site to log in and add markers to the map?

    Hi @firasab,

Although logged in users can access the map via the admin area, they will not be limited to being able to add a marker.

In other words, a logged in user with map access would be able to add markers, edit markers, remove markers, and edit map settings.

We have however developed an extension to allow users to add markers from the front end. You are welcome to have a look at that on our website.

    I hope this helps?

    Hey @dylanauty,

Sorry for the late reply – I have not received an email notification for the post.

The answer to my question I believe lies in your last paragraph. What I’m looking for is to allow all logged in members in my wordpress site to add markers to the map without having to manually give them the ability to do so.

Something like an “Add marker here” option under the map would be great. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks!

    Hi @firasab,

Not a problem, I do understand.

Our Visitor Generated Markers Add-on does allow users to add markers to a map. However with that being said, this will not currently allow for those users to edit the marker after it has been added.

You can find out more information on our website regarding the Visitor Generated Markers Add-on.

    I hope this helps?
