Hi,
to export the list of people you need to go to each giveaway edit screen. Then above the box with “Publish/Update” button, you will see a button “Export CSV”.
You can check all the giveaways options here: https://practicalwp.teachable.com/p/grow-your-e-mail-list-with-simple-giveaways or on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnl69LeRGac&list=PLObNInvLiEdrIMA6y8ifG7a4ImG0kXjS6
At the time of writing this, the last video is showing you how to use the MailChimp integration on the PRO version.
I’ll have to see how the WhatsApp or Telegram is working to see how to add that.
Currently, I am working on a new way to sync old subscribers to autoresponders and the next integration will be Aweber.
For additional share points such as you have shown in the image, I will need to see how to have that and check it if it was done. When I tested some of the on KingSumo Giveaway, they were actual dummy data. Each refresh would revert back to entries and I don’t want that. I want to be sure that for some of those actions such as liking a Facebook page, the user actually liked the page and not just clicked on the link.
Hi Igor,
Thank you for the prompt reply.
Got the export button.
Will take a look at the video.
As for the whatsapp and telegram link, the whatsapp button is quite simple code. Just need to hook the message and open in whatsapp to be shared when some on click on it.
I got few more questions:
1. Can i pick @ automate the winner based on the highest entry?
2. If the user use different email address, does the plugin detect using ip?
3. If the user clear cache and enter the same email address, will they be taken to their subscribers screen where it show their entry count or will it be counted as new entry?
Hi eddy123,
the winner is always chosen based on the entry points. The one who has the most entries will win the giveaway. If there are two or more with the same number of entries, then they will be randomly selected.
The plugin does not yet lock the sign-ups using IP. This is a plan to implement as an option in a future release.
If a user clears the cache (cookie) and enter the same email, it will notify them that the email is already in use. That way we are locking the entry screen so that others may not get the screen and check the status by entering a random email. To get to the entry screen, they will need to click on the REF link which they received inside the email.
Hi Igor,
Thanks for the response.
What happen if they lost the email with the ref link? (deleted or never received)
Are there any other way for them to reach the giveaway status page?
When they subscribe to the giveaway, a cookie is saved on the current browser. When they visit the giveaway page, they will see the status page.
But if they delete the cookie, the only way to see the status page is by clicking on that link.
If they’ve lost it, they won’t be able to see it (if the cookie is deleted).
I might add an option “Resend the Link” or similar so they get the link on the email in a future release.
Hi Igor,
Thank you for the reply.
If they go back to the giveaway page and entered the email address that they have entered previously, will they be taken to their previous giveaway page status? Or it will just said they cannot use that email again?
Hi @eddy123,
if they enter the same email, they will get an error message that the provided email is already in use, as if it was entered by someone else.
Hi Igor,
I see. In that case the ability to resend them the link would be great. Any timeframe when it will be updated?
Not 100% sure, but probably somewhere in the first 2 weeks of December.
