• Hi

I set the duration to accept the cookies again to 1 month. This does not work, I tried in IE, Chrome, Firefox

I do not use a custom domain.

Have seen that others have this issue as well. Is there a timeline when this will be fixed?

    Thanks
    Bernhard

    Hello,
i’ve tried the plugin in your website and the cookie was correctly set (expires 2017-12-24T15:55:04.000Z).

Same with Microsoft Edge (Sun, 24 Dec 2017 15:56:54 GMT).

Could i consider the problem fixed or have you a particular browser?

    Hi Marco

    The problem is the following:

I visit our website, accept the cookie and next time I visit the website I need to accept again.

I have a German wordpress. In the configuration in the backend there is the possibility which is called: “Dauer der Gültigkeit der Cookies” – It tells me in German: “this is the duration of the cookie, if you click ok this is the time the cookie bar hides till the user has to accept it next time”

I set this to “1 month” – so in my understanding the user needs to click again only after one month again. If he visits our website earlier the cookie bar will not be shown

Either there is the German translation wrong or I have a misunderstanding of the meaning of the meaning of this configuration.

    Thanks,
    Bernhard

Have you tried to delete your local cache or use the website in anonymous mode to check if the problem persists?

    Hi Marco

It is working now. But I did not change anything. So it is ok.

    Thanks you,
    Bernhard
