Getting a BLANK Browser Tab in WordPress??

I am using SEO Pack and I am trying to get our Company Name to show in the tab of the browser on the (Home Page). I am using Chrome and MS Edge with no luck with either.
We are in the process of changing our site to WordPress, (still in the learning stage). Using the SEO pack, looking under where it says “Preview Snippet”
All I see is a vertical bar “|” this is what I see in the browser tab when I view our sites home page? I would like it to say our Company name on the tab AND have it say
Home Page on the Navigation menu. Quite sure I am missing the obvious, but unsure where it is!

Another related QUESTION:
When I use “View Page Source” I see where the code is <title>|</title> BUT I have no idea where/how I would edit and save the changes in WordPress?
Also used Inspect page, Right clicking on the code brings up “Edit as HTML” I can add my text but can’t find a way to save it.
