Header code is not present in pages

    What I did:
    1. Entered some code in Header field
    2. Entered some code in Footer field
    3. Pressed Save button
    Result: the code from Header field is not in the source HTML code of the site pages;
    the code from the Footer field is in the source code of the pages.

    I found the reason – There is no wp_head() function call in my theme header
