    Hi Team,

We are using the jetpack plugin for our website, and our hosting server team has blocked our website stating that there is a base64 malware code is injected in the file at URL : /home/babskitch/public_html/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/3rd-party/.

Please suggest an immediate solution as hosting team is asking me to delete the file.

  • Hi @ashwinidas – that folder (3rd-party) is not part of the default Jetpack installation, I would definitely continue with your hosts suggestion of deleting it and any files within it.

Next I would suggest you reinstall the Jetpack plugin – You can do this by deactivating and deleting Jetpack via Plugins → Installed Plugins, then reinstalling and activating via Plugins → Add New.

From there, please try to connect to WordPress.com and let me know how this goes!
