Cannot access admin properly in chr

I am getting a funny outputs , it appears no css when I log into admin. see attached.

The site displays ok for the consumer, but I have no access to admin

This occured after I was clicking on a map button on he contact us page..it just hung

The only way I see an admin-page is when i click on the updates() at the top of the list. it shows me back to the normal admin page but then when i go edit a page or look at plugins it dumps me back to the page i attached above.
I have reloaded version 4.8 of WordPress and it has updated.

I get the proper admin login/ and can action my admin panel in Firefor but not in Chrome
