Calender Not Displaying

    Just installed the widget and have got it to display names as text, so know that it is working to a degree.

    Have tried to display the calender both with shortcode and as a widget but both times it simply displays 

    birthday_cake
Happy Birthday

    Not particularly sure what to try next?
