May we kindly ask you to give more details on what pictures do you mean? Are you speaking about custom thumbnails: http://prntscr.com/fumuuo or videos? Let me mention that this plugin is designed for uploading videos from YouTube and Vimeo. Images are not supported in the Video Galery plugin.
We have tested the same version of the plugin on our end using WordPress 4.8 version and everything is working correctly. Could you let us know which version of the WordPess do you use?
We will be happy to help you to resolve this problem but in any case, the older versions of the plugin can be downloaded from the following link. Go down to the page, select the version of the plugin you would like to download and press the “Download” button.
