Hello, is anyone able to help? I can’t see that any of the installed plugins would have a conflict and the subscribe to comments on another blog works fine – just not on this one. If someone could help troubleshoot. Thanks.
Hi there. Sorry about the delay in writing back. I noticed that the site isn’t properly connected to our servers:
https://jetpack.com/support/debug/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.notanotherslipperydip.com%2F
Could you try disconnecting Jetpack from WordPress.com and then reconnecting, to see if that fixes the problem?
To disconnect Jetpack from WordPress.com, click on Jetpack from your site’s Dashboard and then click on the “Manage site connection” link towards the bottom of the page. Then click the “Disconnect” button to disconnect.
To reconnect, click the green button that says “Connect to WordPress.com”.
If you receive any errors at this stage please copy and send it across.
Let me know once you’ve done that, and I’ll take another look!

Thank you! I’ve disconnected and reconnected and it looks at my end that everything is okay – no error messages. However, still no email when subscribing to comments.

Hi again, it seems to be working for some subscribers but not others. When I try various email addresses, it doesn’t work – even when I don’t use wifi but use 4G instead (different service providers) it doesn’t work for me. But it has worked for the blog owner’s husband from his work email and a friend of hers. Any suggestions.
AND, now that we’ve installed Jetpack, it’s sending her blog posts to old subscribers who signed up when she had her blog on wp.com She now sends out her blog posts via MailChimp’s RSS feed. Is there any way to turn off Jetpack sending blog posts out?
Hi @lisamb,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you!
Can you let me know which addresses haven’t worked? I’ll be able to look it up and see if we attempted to send an email or not.
Unfortunately there’s no way to disable emails for new posts if someone has subscribed to their blog, what they can do is go to WordPress.com and remove any old subscribers via here:
https://wordpress.com/people/email-followers
Let me know how you go.

Yep – the addresses that haven’t worked are:
[redacted]
I’ll remove old subscribers, thank you.
Hi @lisamb – My apologies, I shouldn’t have asked you to post those emails as that are in breach of the forum guidelines. I’m going to ask one of the moderators to edit your message.
Could you please send it to us via our contact form and reference this thread: Contact Support
