    Hi Alex,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Currently, our plugin is not compatible with MonsterInsight, since it is using the different/custom tracker than the default GA tracker used by our Plugin, it might create the compatibility issue as well as generates data discrepancy.

So there are Two possibilities in your case:

    1. If you have “Monster Insight” plugin and you leave the option disable “Add Universal Analytics Tracking Code” from our plugin’s settings, it won’t initialize the tracker to send the EE calls to your GA account.
    2. If you enable “Add Universal Analytics Tracking Code” with “Monster Insight” plugin, it will result into double pageviews in your analytics account and also affect the bounce rate.

    Hope this addresses your concern!

    Thanks & Regards!

    Hi,
I am using monster insights as well and I have the universal tracking code disabled. However, I get “ga not defined” error. Only if I disable “Add Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking Code” further down the page settings then the error goes away. In that case, however, your plugin no longer tracks ecommerce data, I guess. Monster insights uses gaTracker and not ga, is that the reason for the error?
    What do you suggest?
    Regards
    Franco

    Hi Franco,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Yes, the tracker name is the reason for the confliction between plugins. Additionally, the two possible scenarios I have already explained in my previous response.

Among this two plugins, you should use the plugin which completely fulfill your requirement.

    Hope this addresses your concern!

    Thanks & Regards!
