    Hello.

    Thank you for your request.

Could you give more information? That is:
    1. When do you you see this error?
    2. What version of the CleanTalk plugin do you use?
    3. Have you tried to re-install the plugin? Here is the instruction — Manual Update section — https://cleantalk.org/update?platform=wordpress
(Just replace Anti-Spam with Security by CleanTalk)

    Best regards.

The error messages started showing up in my administration panel after the WP upgrade to v4.7.4.

Yes, I deleted and re-installed both: Anti-Spam by CleanTalk v5.63 & Security by CleanTalk v1.14 reactivating them with their access license keys.

They seem to be both working according per the CleanTalk dashboard: Anti-Spam status shows as Active and Security status show as Protected.

    Hello,

It seems that you have broken database table structure.
You should open file wp-config.php in the WordPress’s root folder and place this string:

    define(‘SPBC_ALLOW_COMPLETE_DEACTIVATION’, true);
    above this one:
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Mark it, save settings and then deactivate the plugin and activate plugin one more time. This will delete all CleanTalk’s data from WordPress database (All logs will be sent to the CleanTalk’s cloud when you press save settings, so you will not lose any data).
    The problem should be gone.

Please, mark as resolved if it so. Contact us if you have any questions.

I followed your instructions… Unfortunately, I am still receiving the following error message:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘role’ in ‘field list’]
    INSERT INTO wp6i_spbc_auth_logs (datetime, user_login, event, auth_ip, page, page_time, blog_id, role) VALUES (‘2017-04-28 06:25:46’, ‘acommarata’, ‘view’, ‘2925811294’, ‘/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=spbc’, NULL, 1, ‘administrator’)

    Hello,

Sad to hear it. We need to know that you did it right.

Do you have the “Complete deactivation” option in the plugin settings? (Screenshot)

You should have marked it, saved settings and deactivated the plugin?
    Have you done it?

    Waiting for your answer.
